Taylor Lehmann is Deputy CISO and Head of the Office of the CISO, where he leads a global team of senior security, compliance, and risk management experts dedicated to helping customers strengthen their security posture. His team partners with customers and engineering teams to deliver executive advisory services, industry advocacy, solutions engineering, and practical guidance that help organizations build resilient, secure, digital enterprises. He also leads global internal programs to protect Salesforce’s workforce and infrastructure from modern threats, with a strong focus on software security, secure AI, and Cloud security.

A recognized cybersecurity and risk management leader with more than 20 years of experience, Taylor has built and led security organizations across some of the world’s largest technology, healthcare, and financial services companies. Before joining Salesforce in June 2026, he led the Office of the CISO at Google where he helped develop Google Cloud as a recognized industry leader in enterprise security, leading a variety of expansive internal and external programs that secured the cloud, customers, and Earth. He was Alphabet’s Health Security Officer from 2022 to 2024 and signatory on related regulatory matters.

Previously, Taylor served as the CISO of athenahealth, one of the world’s largest electronic medical records software platforms, and was responsible for the security of medical records for nearly 60% of US citizens. He has also held senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, HealthEdge, Independent Health, Tufts Medicine, and State Street Bank, following nearly 10 years with PwC’s security consulting team.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in IT and Finance from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College.
